Hi!

I wanted to know if you had a zoom on the clock in the driver's panel? (pictures 200810_23100119.jpg and 200810_23100121.jpg for example). The clock should be on the left in the panel...
(or if you have photos of clocks in other tanks too by any chance).

I am a watch enthusiast and am trying really hard to find out more about Russian world war II military clocks (there is very little information out there and I don't speak Russian). This is the first picture I find of the inside of a Russian tank that has a clock in it (I hope it is the original one). For example, in this forum (http://www.g503.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=82&t=160725), the clock was stolen from the panel!

If anyone knows where I can find good information (in any language) on armored vehicles' clocks I would really appreciate it.
For instance, is it true that they were plugged in the electrical system and heated? If so, what for?

Thanks again for your help, it will be greatly appreciated,
Nic.

Hi,

The "clock" on the left isn't a clock. It has the digits 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10.

Really? Damn! I really thought I'd get a picture of a clock....
Thanks for checking though.

Do you have or know of any pictures of the inside of a tank (WWII) that has a clock inside?

I found lots of pictures of the inside of trucks (Zis-5, GAZ, ...) and they do not have clocks (very simple dashboards), but for tanks, it is mission impossible!

Thanks again for your help,
Nicolas.
