BT-42 muzzle brake

Postby Arun Bauer » Thu Jun 05, 2008 10:27 pm

Hi all

How does the muzzle brake exactly? I tried to find this out from the pictures of the tank on this site bute I couldn't spot it clearly. Does anybody have a close up picture or a drawing of it? A description would work as well.

I need this information because I want to detail the gun tube of the Eastern Express kit. Actually the reason is I haven't seen the JS Models resin upgrade anywhere anymore. Another reason is I don't know how good the good the tube actually is in regard of the gun tube, as just this detail wasn't dicussed in the kit review about the EE BT-42 and the JS Models conversion.

However with the pics inthe ML review I'm able to fix thw flaws of the EE turret but I have to know what is to be done with the muzzle brake to acheive a model resembling to the original tank.

Many thanks in advance for helping.

I don't know how to answer your question, but in this photo the muzzle brake has straight rows of holes. Hope that helps.
