T-50 Exhausts

Hi Gentlemen,

While a friend is looking over the example at Parola (which is missing its motor), the question is:

Where did the exhaust exit the vehicle?

Also, are there any photos of the T-50 with the name Niki, or any other name? If so, where (please include ISBN if referencing a book)?

Thanks in advance!

The vehicle in question isn't that familiar to me, so I really can't say.

Judging from wartime photos taken in the winter (with the exhaust smoke showing) the exhaust is located somewhere at the rear of the right lower hull, probably around the drive sprocket.

There is a photo of T-50 R-110 in white stripe winter camo over green from √Ą√§nislinna spring 1942 with name Niki in the book "The Finnish Armoured Vehicles" by Muikku and Purhonen. Another photo in "Puolustusvoimien panssarikalusto 1918-1989 by Muikku and Kuusela shows the other side of the vehicle in the same winter camo.

many thanks gentlemen!

I looked over the photos which you (Andreas) were so kind enough to take many years ago but did not see what could pass for an exhaust near the drive sprocket. Perhaps it is located over the tracks underneath the sponson?

Now, to find those books as Niki sounds like a nice light tank to model.
